The Last weekend Jen was in town we took a little vacation to California. By the time Jeff got off work Friday, we had the car loaded and ready to go so we could leave right when he got home. We didn't get in till around 10 p.m. that night and were exhausted by the time we checked into our hotel (The Crowne Plaza in Anaheim). I love staying in Anaheim, because it's pretty central to everything we love to do. Our favorite beach is Huntington, which is only about a 10-20 min drive from the hotel. I got a great deal for the hotel on price line. However, when you book on price line they only give you the option of two adults. I didn't think it was that big a deal, but when we got to our floor we realized they had put us on the quiet floor. hahah! My kids definitely aren't quiet! I was really worried about this, Jen was laughing hysterically and Jeff said it would be fine. He was right, the kids were surprisingly perfect. They went to bed right away and slept till 9 am both days! We had two queen beds and we brought the pack n play for Lilly. Since Landyn sleeps in a big boy bed we just made him a little bed on the floor with blankets and pillows. Saturday morning, he was talking to my mom on the phone and he told her how much he LOVED his bed on the floor, and said he wanted one at home. ahahahah We spent Saturday sight seeing and spending the afternoon at the beach. Last time we were in Cali we found this little restaurant that we love. We couldn't find it this time (we think it closed down) :( The good news is though that we found a new one that is three times better! :) We went to it twice on our vacation! Sunday, we also did lots of sightseeing, went to the Santa Monica Pier and drove around to see celebrity's houses. We had such a Great vacation and are going back in a few weeks when our friends Kyle and Kelsey come to town! :)
