Last month, Jeff got laid off of his job for a few weeks. We decided to make the most of the time and took an unexpected trip to Michigan. We packed up, got in the car, and started driving. We didn't tell any of our family and friends in Michigan we were coming. It was a huge surprise. The drive was VERY long 35 hours to be exact. The craziest part of the drive was getting stuck in a huge snow storm in the mountains in Colorado. It was sooo scary, both Jeff and I prayed the whole way to keep us safe. Landyn did the best he could do for being in a car that long. He slept most of the way and we stopped at rest stops to let him get out and move around. We arrived at my parents house in Michigan at around 2:30 a.m. They were so shocked and excited to see us. Jeff got called back to work the first week we were there so he had to fly home. Landyn and I stayed all of May and most of June with my parents. We had such a fun time!
