Trick or Treating

Halloween was lots of fun this year. Earlier that morning we had Landyn's Gymboree class (look to the other post for the fun we had there). After that we headed to our neighbor that had moved away Ron's house. We call him Grandpa Ron. He was such a great neighbor, but recently got divorced and they sold their house. He doesn't live to far, so we still stop by occasionally. Nap time was next, with two babies its a must. Then I went and got pizza and breadsticks for dinner. Around 6 we started trick or treating. It was loads of fun and we got lots and lots and lots of candy. Mostly for mommy and daddy of coarse. Landyn loved getting candy at each house and had a hard time sharing with us and then giving it up at the end of the night. He couldn't quite say trick or treat this year, maybe next. Lilly was a trooper and slept the whole time in her stroller. On the way home from trick or treating around 8 p.m. our good friends the Spurgeons drove right past us. Great timing. They stopped over to say hello and dropped off Madelyn's cute Halloween card. It was nice seeing them and Landyn LOVED seeing Madelyn. The kids played for a little while until they had to go home. Then it was time for Landyn to go to bed. Jeff and I didn't stay up late and watch Halloween movies like last year. We were beat! We can't wait till next year when we will get twice as much candy from Lilly. Were pathetic we know! :)
