The plane ride

Kind of sad that I didn't get a single picture at the airport or on the plane, but the morning we left was beyond stressful. Our plane left at 6 am so we woke the kids up around 3 am to get them dressed and to do some last minute things. We arrived at the airport 55 minutes early for our flight, but they wouldn't let us on and told us we missed the deadline. yuck! 100 dollars later and two cranky babies we were able to get on the next flight which left at 9 am. We then checked our bags which were 2 lbs over.. at this point i was in tears so she let it slide.. thank goodness! To pass the time to the next flight we went to breakfast with Jeff. After we decided to head back to the airport so I wouldn't miss the flight again. The kids were beyond crabby at this point and I was so ready to turn around and go home. Finally, we got on the plane and thankfully we were in the last row, which I LOVE (loud noises and the bathroom and flight attendants are handy)! We sat next to a really nice lady who was traveling with her one year old on her lap. That made it SOOO much better! The flight went pretty well and Lilly even fell asleep for an hour which is really nice considering it is an almost 5 hour flight. Landyn fell asleep to right as we were landing into Michigan. lol Since we missed our flight, my dad who was supposed to pick us up couldn't anymore and my friend Jen was sweet enough to pick us up. Finally, we arrived at my parent's house and the kids were BEYOND excited to see my family! SOOOO GOOD to be HOME!!! :) :)
